No Smoking

The entire building is non-smoking (including e-cigarettes). No smoking area is available. The streets around the building are designated as a no-smoking zone by Takayama City ordinance.

If smoking is detected indoors, a special cleaning fee of ¥30,000 will be charged.

Door Passcode (Important)!

The guest room door is locked. Please keep the door closed at all times for security. Please check your booking confirmation message or ask at reception for the passcode.

Please keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM. Please be considerate of other guests and neighbors.
The front desk closes at 10:00 PM. Please contact us before then if you need anything.

Hair Dryer

After 11:00 PM, please use the hair dryer on low wind mode. The sound carries to the guest rooms and may disturb sleeping guests.

Dormitory Rules

Please use the sheets provided on the bed for hygiene.
No food or drinks in the dormitory (water only).
No footwear in the shower room area. Please do not wear sandals or slippers in the shower.

JINYA Sunset Inn (1st floor)

Free washer & dryer. Detergent: ¥100.

You will need the door passcode to enter. Please ask staff.

Luggage Storage

After checkout, please use the shelf in front of the laundry area.

Bicycle Rental

Bicycle pickup and return is at Hostel MURASAKI.Map

Our staff will prepare the charcoal fire for you. Basic seasonings are available at the hostel. Please bring your own food and drinks.
